Holdens Health

Just wanted to let you know that on Thursday holden's left eardrum burst and we went to the doctor and got medication that was needed and then the next day on Friday his other eardrum burst. Needless to say Holden is in a lot of pain right now. I am staying home from church this week since Chris stayed home with him last week. I think Holden has missed more church than he has gone. But one good thing in the 26 months of Holden's life last night was the first night that he slept all the way through the night and was in his OWN bed. I actually had to get up in the night to make sure he was still breathing. It was so nice to have a good nights sleep.

Sorry Holden is so sick! Poor little guy. I remember when Ty's eardrum burst when he was 8 months old. It was scary and he was SO miserable. Maybe Holden will need tubes- like Holly, Scottie, Mason, and Ty have had to. I hope he starts to feel better soon. He probably just wants his mama to hold him. Give him hugs for me!

Give Holden a hug for us. Poor thing. He sure keeps you on your toes! Who knew the events of his birth would be a sign of things to come... :)

Hope that his ears will heal and that he will outgrow these earaches. He may need tubes. Just remember Jill and the scare we had with her. Tell Holden we are proud of him for being a big boy and sleeping in his own bed!!! What an accomplishment - at least he is only two. We will call tonight.

You probably remember all the trouble Karli was having with her ears. Once she finally got tubes, she immediately started sleeping better at night. I think the pressure in her ears was making her wake up so much. I hope Holden's feeling better by now and his ears improve!
